Jainism Religion

Today religious subject about Jainism. One of the oldest Religion in India, about 3000 years old, some 400 years before Buddhism. In fact beside Hindu/Bhraman that influenced Buddhist, Jain influenced and the most closest to Buddhist. Some say that Buddhism come from Jainism, changed and refined a bit to more subtle to what become Buddhism today. In fact they are identical in term of major doctrine philosophy. Buddha first practiced Jain at the beginning the practice of severe bodily self denial fasting (ascetic) than he found the middle way and gain enlightenment.
